The Winelands Papers - Current Issues in Public Administration

This new series is a collection of insights and achievements assembled during the biennial meeting known as the ‘Winelands Conference on Public and Development Administration’ and present them in the form of a peer reviewed selection of papers written by delegates. Each conference has been organized by the School of Public Leadership at the University of Stellenbosch – one of South Africa’s premier educational institutions with the capacity to impact positively on effective and ethical public leadership for good governance and sustainability. The series will provide proper analysis on the nature and scope of public leadership in terms of institutions as well as leaders who deal with the challenges. The following topics will be addressed: added citizen value, leadership, corruption, and innovation in governance.
